More than just steps… In the footsteps of Greek traditional dancing (the fun way)
Immerse in the world of Greece’s dance traditions, as you have never seen it before!
Would you like to taste this vast patrimony (more than 1,200 dances!) which is so rich and living, varying from region to region? These dances captivate all those who have seen or danced them at least once.
Good news! Every Sunday the real, authentic and magic Greece will come to you to Brussels.
We have a mixed group from 0-40 years dance experience so if you are anywhere in between, you will likely to fit in.
As these are circle dances, you don’t even need to have a partner (but if you do have one, it’s always more fun).
You’re an advanced dancer? Read the list of dances learned the past years.
New to Greek dances? Unsure if it’s for you? Read our Frequently Asked Questions section or… Just give it a try!
About our dance teacher:
Our dance classes are lead by Erika Saradidis-Kalmar:
- She has 25 years of Greek dance experience and has been teaching for over 9 years
- She is the Founder of Terpsichori Greek Dance Circle
- She’s attended numerous dance seminars with renowned teachers to further develop her skills
- Our members say that she’s a great didact coupled with a sense of humour
If you’re already a savvy dancer, read about the list of dances we typically learn.
Will you give it a try? We’re looking forward to meeting you on our next dance class! First class is free.
Our classes take place on Sunday afternoons 5 to 7pm, from 15th September 2019 to 28th June 2020:
5-6pm: Beginners / Intermediates

Of course you are more than welcome to stay for both hours of class! For organisatory reasons the class is divided into two parts: the first being reserved for simpler (but not necessarily known!) dances, whereas the second part is about more complex dances and figures.
Before coming to our class, always check this page. This is where we post any changes.
ATTENTION: On 22nd September there is car free Sunday in Brussels, so get informed about public transport situation before coming to the class!
